Editor’s Note:
It's always hard to know what to say after winning an award - we are thankful for receiving our sixth KPBA Magazine Of The Year Award. It helps to remind us why we do this - to make people's voices heard. It has never been more important and this edition has a roster of interviewees who are doing exactly that.
We have an exclusive interview with accountability activists Led By Donkeys to hear about their unique combination of art and activism. We visit Woodsell, a countryside-regeneration project, where people can escape to Kentish nature, while Skins star Alexander Arnold films a new short in Ashford about the 11+.
Also, we have Medway rapper Jay Malakhi on a crazy six months, Brianna Lois Parker on Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year and Paul Camo on Margate Radio’s fifth birthday. And there’s much, much more.
Enjoy,
Joe / Editor
