Meet the animals at the Rare Breeds Centre, Ashford, this summer
Butterfly tunnels, pig racing, cool beach area and giant games!
This summer holidays at the Rare Breeds Centre (@rarebreedscentre , they’re going BIG! Head along for family-friendly fun with oversized versions of your favourite games, including Giant Noughts and Crosses, Giant Jenga, and Guess Moo (Guess Who with cows!).
Plus, there will also be a cool beach area set up where little ones can play in the sand.
Additionally, throughout the summer holidays, there will be plenty of animal feeding and "meet the animals" sessions for the whole family to enjoy! Meet cows and horses, feed goats and pigs and you won’t want to miss the pig racing track!
Siana will also be continuing her popular Storytelling Wednesdays and Rhyme & Sign sessions, perfect for little ones! These fun-filled experiences include interactive stories, catchy songs, and plenty of engaging activities, all included in your ticket price. Join the fun in the Discovery Zone at 11:30am and 1:00pm every Wednesday and Friday!
All of the popular daily activities will be running as usual, including accessible tractor-trailer rides and Meet the Animals in the Children’s Barn. The butterfly tunnel, where you can wander through a magical tropical environment looking for flitting butterflies, is open daily. Make sure the kids get some time in one of three adventure playparks where you’ll find the tube maze, zip wire, swings and hill fort.
When it’s time to refuel, head over to the Granary Restaurant for freshly prepared meals featuring locally-sourced ingredients with gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options, plus gourmet coffees and hot chocolates. Next to Sammy’s Play Park, you can also take a breather at one of the picnic tables and grab some snacks from the catering Cabin or the brand new ice cream kiosk, now serving Kelly’s Ice Cream!
