Sunsets, Cocktails and secret doorways - Margate Beach Club
The club boasts arguably the best sunset views in Margate, making it the ideal spot to relax
Margate Beach Club (@margatebeachclub) is set to become one of the town’s most exciting new destinations.
Tucked away in the corner of Albert Terrace, just a short stroll from the main sands, the club boasts arguably the best sunset views in Margate, making it the ideal spot to relax, raise a glass, and soak up the golden-hour glow. You can also stay at the Beach Club Apartments which are cool sea facing spaces.
By day, the vibe is all about laid-back coastal cool. Drop in for a signature cocktail and light bites, either inside the clubhouse style interior or out on the sea-facing terrace overlooking Marine Drive, where there is the “Beach Club Kiosk”.
The food offering will be launching later this summer and will be ever-changing, with a rotating line-up of pop-ups and guest chefs serving up seasonal flavours throughout the year. It’s the perfect backdrop for an easy afternoon, a sunny brunch or a spontaneous get-together with friends.
As the sun dips below the horizon, the atmosphere shifts. Margate Beach Club transforms into a fun, sassy and sophisticated late-night hangout. With themed nights, creative cocktails and an irresistible soundtrack, the club brings real energy to the coast after dark.
Can you find the secret door that leads through to the dance floor and cabaret room?
Expect camp pop, soulful house, garage and disco, depending on the night - with great resident and guest DJs such as Abbie Neill, TBX, Mikey Snooze, Inky Durant, Ian Dunne and Amy Beesting.
The team at the club is also launching regular Sunday brunch parties soon, which promise to become a staple of Margate’s social calendar and an experience!
But this isn’t just another bar, it’s a clubhouse by the sea, a lifestyle space designed with inclusivity at its heart. The team behind it are building a place that’s open to all, where good vibes come as standard and everyone is encouraged to be exactly who they are, and is a safe space for people from all communities. The “club rules” are a great statement of the type of place Margate Beach club is and the type of people the team wants to attract.
The drinks menu is still a work-in-progress but you can expect signature drinks crafted with love, blending coastal flavours with bold creativity, and the events line-up promises everything from low-key live sets to full-on parties. Whether you’re winding down after a beach day or just getting started, Margate Beach Club offers an effortless transition from day to night.
So whether you’re escaping the city, celebrating with friends, or chasing the sunset, this is one corner of Margate you won’t want to miss.
