50ft Splashdown ride opens at Dreamland in Margate
Wild River officially opens to the public
A major new attraction has splashed down at Dreamland, Margate situated on the beautiful Kent coastline. Set to soak summer revelers, Wild River sees the return of a classic Log Flume attraction to the iconic park.
Crystal clear water cascades down two high-thrill drops taking riders on a 30 foot hump-back plunge and 50 foot straight drop into waves of water soaked family fun. Spectators can also delight in drenching passing riders with additional coin-operated water guns whilst guests have the chance to purchase ponchos to protect themselves from the oncoming wet and wild fun.
A Dreamland Spokesperson said: “This summer, we are delighted to welcome a brand new headline attraction to Dreamland’s ride lineup. The Wild River is a welcome return of the classic Log Flume to the park and we can’t wait for guests to take the plunge!”
