After a sell-out event in 2024, Macknade is back and bringing the heat with the return of Beer & BBQ Fest on the 28th June 2025! FESTIVAL HIGHLIGHTS:
Big Green Egg
If you know Macknade, you’ll know they take outdoor cooking very seriously - and nothing delivers on flavour quite like the Big Green Egg. Whether it’s slow-smoked brisket, wood-fired flatbreads or seared steaks straight from the coals, this ceramic grill does it all. Its ability to roast, smoke, bake and grill makes it a firm favourite with Macknade’s chefs… and David Beckham is even a fan, too! Check out the range and see them in action during Beer & BBQ Fest with a live cooking demo from Big Green Egg ‘eggspurt’ Dave (aka Spice Punch BBQ).
Groovezoo
With their high-octane mix of funk, soul, R&B and feel-good anthems, GrooveZoo know exactly how to get a crowd on their feet. Renowned for their infectious stage presence, the six-piece has earned a reputation as one of the South East’s top bands. As the headliners for Beer & BBQ Fest 2025, they’ll be turning up the volume from 4pm, injecting their trademark energy into the day and transforming Macknade into a full-blown festival of sound. Because great food always deserves a great soundtrack!
Time & Tide Brewing
Time & Tide are a local indie-brewery making hop-forward juicy IPAs, lagers and sour beers. Their original brewery is located just outside of Deal and you can also find them on tap at the Wild Box Bar in the Hop Shed at Macknade. Founders Sam, Paul and Kerry have an uncompromising commitment to quality and a deep passion for creating full-flavoured beers that excite your palate - and they’ll be pouring the good stuff alongside some fantastic fellow brewers at this year’s festival.
If you’re into food and drink and live in Kent, then you’ll undoubtedly know these guys already. Macknade is famous for its amazing Faversham Food Hall, which features an award-winning butchery, deli, café, greengrocery and wine store, plus their seasonal street food market – The Food Village. This year, you’ll also find them dipping their toes into the world of wellness thanks to partnerships with Seascrub Sauna and Serene Massage Therapies, in addition to their on-site gym, Top to Toe Fitness.
